The Music Express is an all-in-one solution, from a solo performer up to a trio. For small gatherings the solo performer is a great solution. The Trio, gives you a live drummer, and an additional voice for 3-part harmonies and an added lead vocal.
The Music Express is Kirk Poole (Capt. Kirk), whose credits include influencing REM's “twangy” 12 string sound, studio musician at A & M Records, and performing in various groups for over 40 years. Michael Brown, holds the foundation with the great steady beat. He hails from the Southern CA area and recording as a session drummer for various projects. Beverly Wood is the newest member of the band and has worked the casino/club circuit since the 80's. She was lead singer in the popular Reno band Papa Clutch & The Shifters for many years. Jennifer Ramos, hails from Carson City, and adds her vocal stylings to numerous artists. Combine that with a little digital magic, and you get the sound of a 9-piece band. Perfect for casinos, parties, restaurants, street dances, festivals and more. These two dynamic singers job share the position, giving us unique feels to each and every show, dependant on who is with the group. Combine them together and you have one of the must unique bands in Northern Nevada. Two dynamic female lead vocalists with great harmonies in the group.
Their sound combines nostalgia from the 60's to contemporary hits from artists like Adele, Lady Gaga, Thomas Rhett and Teddy Swims. The motto of the Music Express is “put your happy feet into your dancing shoes”, which means the focus of all four options is to have you, your guests, customers, event participants dance and sing along with every song.
